Date: Sat, 10 Jul 1999 From: Jason Odd To: koa7@urban.ne.jp Dear Koji Kihara, In a recent email interview with Helen'Peaches Price'Johnson, it was revealed that Clarence White played on the following album. Noe Peaches Price wrote: Yeah, I was on that album with Tough Row to Hoe. In fact Bobby George played rhythm on the album. Clarance White played guitar and so did Dale Noe. I think we had a "pick up" bass man who played upright bass.Jim Pierce on Piano, of course Mooney and thats about all I can recall. Carl Walden was there but I don't recall if he did anything other than play harmonica on Louisiana Blues Harp Man. 5 Jul 1999 It is interesting to note that Clarence was brought in with Wynn's current lead guitarist Dale Noe, who was also Wynn's main songwriter at that point. While the studio crew included Bobby George, Peaches Price, Ralph Mooney and Jim Pierce all veterans of Wynn's early 1960's Nashville Nevada Club band and many of his sessions. To me this is an indication of how popular Clarence had become in country sessions as well as pop and rock. Regards Jason Odd.
